Virtual Essential Newborn Care 1.0

This application is specifically designed for healthcare professionals with prior training in essential newborn care, aligned with World Health Organization standards.

It offers an immersive training simulation that allows users to maintain and enhance their clinical skills through a series of realistic patient scenarios encompassing various conditions. The simulated cases span from the immediate pre-birth period to either discharge or referral to a higher-level facility, excluding the actual delivery process. Users are tasked with monitoring the patient's condition throughout each scenario, accurately classifying the health status, and implementing appropriate interventions.

Virtual Essential Newborn Care is available as a mobile application utilizing virtual reality (VR) technology. It is compatible with low-cost VR viewers such as Google Cardboard or can be used without any VR hardware by selecting screen-based mode, accessible via the X icon in the top-left corner.
